Developments have resulted in improvements to Fibox's ALN range of aluminium enclosures. These solid units offer high impact resistance and can be used in a variety of operating temperatures. When fitted with a conductive gasket, these are EMC shielded and offer protection against petroleum, hydraulic oils, alcohols and solvents.
Features include perpendicular walls for ease of component installation and wall mounting, an upgraded cover design which offers even more protection for gaskets, and there are more internal mounting pods. Furthermore, with IP66/67 and IP68 versions available, the range offers high levels of protection from dust and water ingress. The inclusion of a higher grade polyurethane gasket is said to offer better sealing, irrespective of repetitive lid removal.
