Published: 20 March 2017 - Sarah Mead
Intel today announced the introduction of its EM21xx family of fully digital PowerSoC DC-DC step down converters from the Intel Enpirion Power Solutions portfolio. Designed specifically for tackling the demanding power requirements of FPGAs and other programmable logic devices, the EM21xx family comprises three compact footprint-compatible devices that support output currents of 20, 30 and 40 A.
The converters re PMBus v1.2 compliant and fully configurable, providing a robust, fully test system power solution with very few external components. With pre-programmed FPGA power-compliant solutions on device memory, the EM21xx family makes powering your FPGA much easier than ever before.
