Trident Exhibitions and Datateam Business Media have joined forces to run Sensing Technology, the national exhibition for sensors and instrumentation.

For 2012 Trident will focus its efforts on Sensing Technology, which takes place on 25-26th September, and therefore the Sensors & Systems show at Silverstone this October will not take place.

'This partnership can only benefit the industry, providing a focused exhibition targeting a dedicated audience,' said Helen Thewlis, managing director of Trident Exhibitions.  'We have many years experience in running dedicated events alongside each other at the NEC and are happy to come together with Datateam to run a sensors event.'

Now firmly established as the UK's only dedicated national sensors, test, measurement & instrumentation event, Sensing Technology 2012 is co-located with six other exhibitions at the NEC, Birmingham.
