PHOTONEX Europe 2018 preview

18 September 2018
Photonex Europe 2018
Bringing light technologies to life

Photonex Europe is making its way to Ricoh Arena, Coventry on 10th and 11th October 2018 for two action-packed days of learning, networking and connecting with the photonics (light technology) industry’s top suppliers and is co-located with Vacuum Expo

Photonics is an enabling and ‘go to’ technology for solving a vast diversity of applications.

Photonex Europe brings the whole supply chain together under the one roof: supplier companies, consultants, industrial users, researchers, science groups and innovative newcomers.

Bringing people together

The exhibition boasts 80 companies at the forefront of science and innovation, spanning lasers, advanced manufacturing applications, camera systems, imaging, sensors, communications and optoelectronics. Leading companies exhibiting include: Aerotech, Alrad Imaging, Hamamatsu, Horiba, Pro-lite Technology and Reliance Precision.

Enlighten Conference

With a stellar line-up of speakers at the Enlighten Conference, delegates can expect a high-level programme covering hyperspectral imaging, additive manufacturing, laser technologies, laser safety and much more. Hyperspectral imaging is now being used for food safety, condition and quality control.

For anyone seeking the next generation of vision and imaging equipment, on show will be cutting edge advances in camera and imaging technology, including: industrial, thermal imaging, sensors and more...

Co-located with
Vacuum Expo

Bringing together 40+ vacuum technology companies alongside a range of specialist meetings as part of the co-located ninth vacuum symposium, Vacuum Expo offers a unique vantage point for engineers to develop their knowledge in vacuum technology handling and attend a range of expert-led training sessions.

New for 2018 will be ‘Vacuum in Food Manufacturing’ which will explore the usage, implications and challenges of such technology in this high-demand industry where shelf-live, packaging, cost and quality all play a vital role.

Speaking ahead of the event, Laurence Devereux, managing director, comments: “Photonex Europe and Vacuum Expo are firmly established as being the primary meeting places for light-based technologies and vacuum equipment. With an exciting new programme, this year’s event promises to offer the best opportunities yet.”
