Register now for Sensors & Instrumentation Live

13 May 2019

Registration is now open for Sensors & Instrumentation Live. Your free ticket not only gets you access to the UK’s only national instrumentation exhibition but also access to the the TCT Show.

There are many reasons to visit the exhibition when it returns to the NEC, Birmingham on 25 and 26 September 2019, with new feature areas added to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the show. The latest feature area to be announced is Innovation in Action, sponsored by PCB Piezotronics. There is a lot to see at the event with market leading companies from across the test, measurement and control sector coming together under one roof. This feature area allows exhibitors to give demonstrations of some of the top technology they have on display. Free-to-attend, Innovation in Action will give you a better insight into the products that are on show and how these products can benefit your own operations. Unlike Google and any other online way of sourcing new products and solutions, this gives you a chance to see how these products work in real life and to have your questions answered by the experts.

Companies already confirmed to speak in Innovation in Action include PCB Piezotronics and Bronkhorst. PCB Piezotronics is a designer, manufacturer, and global supplier of accelerometers, microphones, force, torque, load, strain, and pressure sensors, as well as the pioneer of ICP technology. This instrumentation is used by design engineers and predictive maintenance professionals worldwide for test, measurement, monitoring, and control requirements in automotive, aerospace, industrial, R&D, military, educational, commercial, OEM applications, and more. You can see a live demonstration of PCB products in Innovation in Action.

Bronkhorst is a leader in mass flow meter / mass flow controller technology for gases and liquids, pressure controllers and evaporation systems. Bronkhorst’s Damian Walker will be giving a demonstration of the company’s LDM (Liquid Dosing Module) in Innovation in Action. The LDM is a modular assembly of a Bronkhorst mini CORI-FLOW mass flow meter and a pump system, built together in a robust enclosure as a complete unit with integrated power supply and touch-screen interface. It is capable of very low flow continuous or batch dosing.

Enterprise hub:

Another new feature for 2019 is the Enterprise Hub. The Enterprise Hub will explore the different opportunities that are available to manufacturers. Representatives from key engineering institutions and organisations will give a series of invaluable presentations, giving visitors an insight into topics including funding, training, apprenticeships and standards. Organisations that have already signed up to be at the event include the British Measurement & Test Association (BMTA), the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA), the Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), Make UK and GAMBICA.

Engineering Symposium - Sensing Innovation

The Engineering Symposium is an exciting partnership between DJB Instruments and Sensors & Instrumentation Live that will present CPD-accredited training that is driven by sensor innovation and the very latest in engineering. DJB will bring together a team of speakers from some of the UK’s leading technology and engineering companies to present a two day programme of technical training sessions. Subjects covered in the Engineering Symposium will include: basics of signal processing; analysis and control of noise sources in data; accelerometer technology and other topics. In addition, industry based presentations will describe how innovative sensor technology has been applied in some of the most technologically challenging applications of the modern era.

Innovation Showcase

The popular Innovation Showcase sponsored by Bronkhorst, makes a return to Sensors & Instrumentation Live for 2019. This exciting feature area provides an assembly of the most cutting-edge products and solutions available from exhibitors. Visitors can get hands-on with devices and make sure they do not miss out on a single thing.
