RULMECA UK will present a comprehensive range of conveyor rollers and innovative hygienic drive solutions, whilst highlighting its new generation of smart 24 VDC Rulmeca Drive Roller technology at the PPMA Show 2018 25th – 27th September, NEC – Birmingham.
The new Rulmeca Drive Roller BL3 features a brushless motor installed in a 50 mm diameter roller that is able to drive adjacent rollers, without the need for external drive units, transmission chains or expensive guards for safe, silent and efficient operation.
Thanks to the performance and the configuration flexibility, high speeds and torque, the Drive Roller BL3 provides a smart state-of-the-art solution for a great variety of demanding industrial conveying applications. They provide optimum control and handling for tasks, such as those defined with: frequent start/stop operations, constant speed variable load and accurate product placement.
The new Rulmeca BL3 Drive Roller can be manufactured to customised specifications, easily retro fitted and supplied with an external electronic board and extension cables to make it easier to integrate into most applications.
Operating on 24VDC the Drive Roller is classified as being safe, extremely silent, compact, energy-efficient, wear resistant and maintenance-free drive system.
RULMECA will also exhibit a range of versatile, powerful and highly efficient Drum Motors for belt conveyors - with diameters from 81.5mm to 1000mm and power from 0.02kW to 250kW. As a totally enclosed sealed unit, free of external parts and with fixed external shafts, the compact drum motor is ideal for general conveying applications and environments involving frequent wash-downs (with IP66/69 rating).
