“Having now secured the Interconics board handling business, along with offering more and more support on the Yamaha equipment, the company is very much a critical partner to Altus and we will be ensure that we continue to provide support to Interconics and that our knowledgeable team are on-hand to offer advice on systems already installed or information on products that can meet future demands.”
Combined with support from Yamaha, Altus has helped in offering Interconics with a range of equipment to help them achieve their goal of becoming a technology leader in Europe’s EMS sector. David Weston, Managing Director of Interconics said: “Yamaha provided great engineering support on-site to help us get the best from the equipment. We were each pushing the boundaries, to discover the full potential of Yamaha’s new technology, and we learned a lot together.
“We saw that here there was a partner we could rely on to help us achieve our goal to perfect the most advanced capabilities in the marketplace and deliver the most complex products within the fastest turnaround times. We also selected YJ Link and Altus as our preferred board handling supplier. The equipment is well designed, robust and good value for money, but again the key deciding factor for me was the willingness of the staff to offer support and help, beyond the norm. Another good business partnership has been formed.”
