With more than 40 industry partners EPLAN, a specialist in Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software, is now offering what it believes to be the most comprehensive list of components on any system of its kind.
With around 150,000 pieces of manufacturer created component and device data, the solution enables users to select and apply the data or components, reducing project drafting and documentation by between 50 to 80 per cent.
Most electrical design in the UK is performed using two-dimensional CAD systems that produce flat drawings, where all lists and documents have to be researched and assembled separately. EPLAN performs these functions automatically and instantaneously.
