Scorpion Vision Software Version 7 – at VTX

18 March, 2009

Advertisement: Scorpion Vision Ltd will be at VTX 2009 demonstrating the latest version of Scorpion Vision Software Version 7 which is a major new release of their Windows based vision software. Containing a number of vision tool enhancements and some radical changes to the licensing structure, this latest release is considered to be one of the most significant milestones in the Scorpion Vision roadmap.

Scorpion, which runs on PCs and smart cameras with Windows is a full featured machine vision application that boasts a toolbox with over 150 advanced vision tools. Each tool can be configured using point and click, with no programming required to make even the most advanced vision application.

Scorpion Vision 7 is a market leader in 3D machine Vision. The latest edition includes a full suite of 3D enabled vision tools which include 3D camera calibration and ‘real-time’ 3D visualisations. Already being used within both the food and automotive industries, Scorpion 3D offers new possibilities (and revenue streams) to integrators and machine builders who need a comprehensive but easy to use vision package.

AVT, Sony, PixeLINK, Prosilica, Basler, Unibrain and PointGrey are just some of the camera brands supported by Scorpion Vision Software. The consequence of such a broad industry acceptance of the software is the ability to build a complete machine vision application with ‘commodity’ parts for a very low price.

Engineers considering their next (or first) machine vision system are encouraged to visit the Scorpion Vision stand to find out what technical and business advantages can be achieved. In these challenging times any competitive advantage can make a big difference. With good UK (and worldwide) support, Scorpion Vision Software offers many opportunities to the hard working machine builder looking to add an additional ‘feather in the cap’ in 2009.

Scorpion Vision Ltd will also be demonstrating some of the supported cameras including Prosilica Gigabit Ethernet and the latest Unibrain 1394b cameras. The Sony Smartcamera with Windows XPe running Scorpion 7 will also be available for assessment.

See demonstrations and get a free disk at VTX 2009 from Scorpion Vision Ltd on stand 648.
