Miniature linear displacement sensor announced

A miniature linear displacement sensor has been developed by Turck Banner that works with the resonant circuit measuring principle, where an objects position is detected via an inductive oscillating system, consisting of a condenser and a coil.
Designed for measuring ranges between 50 and 200mm, the LI-Q17 works where the functionality of a magnetic position device is affected by the electromagnet fields caused by large motors or welding plants.
Of additional benefit, the IP67 rated housing is available in four different sizes.
