Anglia signs agreement with Pico Technology

Anglia Components has announced that it has been appointed UK and Ireland distributor for Pico Technology, award winning manufacturer of PC oscilloscope and data acquisition instruments. Pico Technology was named last week as a winner of a Queen's Award for Enterprise, the UK's highest accolade for business success, for its achievements in International Trade.
Kieran Winstanley, distribution sales manager, at Pico Technology, sees the partnership as a great example of two UK companies joining forces and pioneering a new business model to the benefit of their customers. “Anglia is already a valued supplier to Pico Technology, and we have an extremely high regard for their technical support and their logistics and service. Appointing a component distributor is a new approach for us, but Anglia convinced us that they could fill a gap in our network. They have a strong team of highly qualified FAEs and an effective online sales channel backed by stock for same day shipment. Pico Technology and Anglia already work effectively together, and we have high expectations of this new dimension to our relationship. ”
David Pearson, technical director of Anglia Components added, “We are excited about extending our instrument portfolio... Pico Technology products are already well known and popular throughout our customer base. We can now help our customers make the right choice of test instrument by offering on-site demonstrations by our FAEs. If necessary, we can ship their chosen instrument to them the same day from stock. “ He continued, "We warmly congratulate the whole team at Pico Technology on their recent fine achievement in winning a Queens Award. We look forward to being a part of this outstanding UK business success story.”
Anglia will be offering a range of Pico Technology products, including the PicoScope real-time PC Oscilloscope range with bandwidths up to 500 MHz and resolutions up to 16 bits. The PicoScope 5000 Series oscilloscopes which can capture high-speed and high-resolution signals at 8-bit to 16-bit resolutions were named as the Electronics Weekly Elektra Test Product of the Year. Anglia will also sell and support Pico Technology’s range of data acquisition instruments.
