The International Institute of Obsolescence Management (IIOM) is for professionals worldwide who are dedicated to furthering their knowledge and understanding of the Obsolescence Management discipline and who wish to network with a wide group of people from companies and other organisations from across the world. The 2nd IIOM International Conference will take place in Bristol this summer, and will bring together professionals from around the world to see a range of presentations, discuss topical issues and network. Before the Conference itself, there will be a one day Workshop entitled “Obsolescence Management Challenges within the New Servitisation Landscape”. More than half of the programme will be given by speakers from overseas. Speakers come from globally recognized companies such as Airbus, Alstom, Babcock, Cranfield University, IHS Markit, Jacobs, KLM, and Lockheed Martin.
Alongside the conference will be a dedicated exhibition of solution provider companies, who offer practical solutions and consultancy services to help companies plan for, manage and resolve obsolescence issues.
This conference is aimed at obsolescence practitioners at all levels, Project Managers, Procurement Managers, Business Owners, Risk Managers, and Engineering General Management.
