Clugston Group (‘the Group’), the privately owned company, which has interests in construction, logistics, facilities management and property development, announces that Mr R J Vickers, chief executive officer (CEO), having previously tendered notice of his resignation, left the Group by mutual consent with effect on 30 June 2019.
Effective immediately, the company at the same time, announces the appointment of Glynn Thomas as interim Group CEO. Thomas has a background in construction, as well as facilities services, in both public and private sector organisations.
Having achieved a restructuring of the Group, overseen changes to the senior management team and created a new operating platform for each of the Company's business units, Vickers decided that the next phase of the Group's development requires different leadership to take the Group forward.
Chairman, John Clugston, expressed disappointment that Mr Vickers had resigned, but is grateful for the positive contribution he has brought to the Group, wishing him well for the future.
Clugston welcomes the appointment of Thomas to the board as interim CEO.
