U300: Simply Laser Marking
Trotec Laser, a market leading supplier of laser cutting, engraving and marking machines, has introduced the latest in efficient laser marking tools, the U300. Part of the Rayjet series of laser machines, the U300 features a working area of 190 x 190 mm and is designed for efficient marking of metals and plastics.
Developed for efficient material processing
The U series of laser marking machines are designed to make laser marking an affordable solution for manufacturers. Equipped with a maintenance-free fiber laser source, the U300 enables direct marking of blank metals without the requirement for additional sprays and pastes, while plastics can be easily recoloured with laser marking. The high quality lenses and laser spot of the U300 guarantee perfect laser marking results for these applications, even for fine details.
As with all Trotec marking lasers, the U series is designed for high speed marking, allowing a range of data to be marked in the blink of an eye including codes, data files, graphics or texts. The built-in material database allows you to select pre-determined parameters and store your own settings to make job set-up as efficient as possible.
Save time with border marking
The newly developed border marking function allows users to project a guide onto the surface to be marked at any time during the process, so that jobs can be positioned in real time and corrected with the click of a mouse.
Independent and flexible through Ethernet
A big innovation for the U300 is the newly integrated user interface, which allows the laser to work with any Windows PC rather than requiring a specialised industrial PC.
Simple and efficient laser marking
Bryan Jater, Sales Director for Trotec said; "The introduction of the U300 allows us to bring high quality and efficient laser marking equipment to the entry level market, breaking many of the entry level barriers to laser marking."
