Colibrys new best-in-class high temperature MEMS accelerometer for inertial drilling applications

Acal BFi, the European leader in advanced technology solutions, can now exclusively offer Colibrys’ new high temperature MEMS accelerometer range to its European customers. The Colibrys TS1000T series is the leading high temperature MEMS accelerometer range currently available in the marketplace.
Boasting the highest performance stability with shock resistance and the lowest non-linearity and noise compared to similar MEMS sensors, Colibrys’ new MEMS accelerometer range operates at temperature ranges from -40°C to 150°C for more than 1000 hours, and can withstand intermittent temperature exposure of up to 175°C. It also features an embedded temperature sensor that compensates thermal errors to achieve accurate, reliable readings.
The TS1000T series is based on Colibrys’ proven MEMS technology, which continually pushes the boundaries of vibration and shock endurance for heavy duty and harsh environment applications such as down-hole measurement while drilling, directional drilling, borehole surveys, geological exploration and logging while drilling.
